Host fonts directly at Umso

Instead of serving open source fonts via Google fonts, we are planning to host the font files on our own servers to that you don't have to worry about GDPR compliance.
You can already use any third-party font you have the license for by uploading it to your Umso font library and selecting it in the "Custom Font" menu in the font picker. Custom fonts are served by our own servers directly from the domain you are using with Umso.

Felix: Hmmm yeah but then I would just have to upload the font files I get from bunny fonts? Wouldn't it be nicer to switch out google fonts to bunny fonts as the "built-in" fonts of Umso and then have the custom font hosting as a seperate option? Or am I misreading this?

Alexander Koch: we will retain the option to pick the standard fonts without having to upload them. Just like bunny fonts does, we can host the fonts on our own servers. Uploading the custom fonts is just a temporary workaround until we build this feature.
